A devotional journey toward stillness, trust, and God's nearness in every storm.
"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river."
Jeremiah 17:7-8
A tree does not stop being a tree in a drought. Its leaves may wither, but its roots are still reaching for water. Your faith may feel brittle on the outside right now, but the roots matter most. What you are rooted in will determine whether you bend or break.
Consider: what are your roots in? What do you turn to first when life gets hard — and does that source sustain you or just distract you?
