Fear

Reflection

Fear is real — but it does not have to be the final word. God's response to every frightened heart is the same: 'I am with you.' You are not facing this alone. You never were.

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

Isaiah 41:10

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

2 Timothy 1:7

"What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee."

Psalm 56:3

"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

Joshua 1:9

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

Psalm 23:4

"Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee."

Deuteronomy 31:6

"Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows."

Matthew 10:31

"I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears."

Psalm 34:4

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear."

1 John 4:18

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God."
